Technical Data and Limits of Use
The Qeridoo Kidgoo 2 Lite meets all safety requirements of the European Safety Standards EN 15918:2011+A2:2017 (bike trailers) and EN 1888-2:2018+A1:2022 (strollers).

General notes on safe operation:
Operation is only permitted under the following conditions. Failure to observe these instructions may result in serious injury or fatal accidents!
- The user is at least 16 years old. They have fully read and understood the corresponding user manual.
- A maximum of two children may be transported. They must be secured with the harness system and wear suitable clothing as well as a bicycle helmet. Ensure a balanced load distribution.
- This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months — unless suitable accessories are used. If the child cannot sit independently, special accessories are mandatory (baby shell / hammock). Use a safety harness as soon as your child can sit independently. Always use the restraint system. Never leave your child unattended.
- This product is not suitable for jogging or skating. Jogging and skating are only possible with optional accessories. The jogger set is a product developed by the manufacturer; jogger and skater modes are not included in the stroller certification.
- While riding, the insect protection net must be closed, the hand strap attached and the safety pennant inserted. At high temperatures, open the ventilation windows.
- All safety requirements and regionally applicable legal regulations must be met (e.g. lighting). The Qeridoo must be fully assembled and in technically perfect condition. All locks, straps and fasteners must be secured. All screw connections must be firmly tightened.
- The wheels must lock into place and the brakes must function. Check the tyre pressure of the wheels regularly.
Special notes for operation in trailer mode:
- The tow bar must be connected to the bicycle frame by means of the coupler and safety strap. The stroller wheel must be removed.
- The user must be aware of the altered riding and braking behaviour and ride defensively and with foresight.
- The coupled trailer has a negative influence on the bicycle's braking distance. Jerky braking and starting lead to increased wear and safety risks.
Prohibited and restricted uses:
- The Qeridoo is not a children's toy and must not be misused as such. It is not permitted to attach the Qeridoo to a child's bicycle.
- Operation on unpaved terrain, transport of luggage in the cabin, transport of animals as well as commercial use or use under competition conditions are not permitted.
- Keep sufficient distance from obstacles; avoid stairs, escalators and steep paths.
Hazard notes for assembly and operation:
- Keep children away during assembly. When handling moving parts, take care not to pinch your hands and fingers.
- No washer may be used at the connection point between the bicycle frame and the coupler, as this can impair stability.
- Before each use, make sure that the unfolding mechanism and the parking brake foot lever audibly lock into place and the safety strap is properly secured.
Care, maintenance and usage instructions:
- Corrosion cannot be entirely excluded. Regular cleaning and care are required.
- Recommended tightening torques for the screw connections can be found at www.qeridoo.de/go/drehmomente.
- Observe monthly (or every 200 km), semi-annual (or every 500 km), biennial (leaf springs) and quadrennial (thru-axles) maintenance intervals. Detailed information can be found in the user manual.
